19 years ago, my beautiful mother welcomed me into a beautiful life. And I’m so, so thankful for that.

So Mom, thank you for taking me to soccer practice when I was younger. Thank you for packing my lunch for school all through elementary. Thank you for making me tea, giving me medicine, and for taking me to the doctors when I was sick (or am sick.) Thank you never pushing anything on me to the point where I resent you. Thank you for not being too strict, but just the right amount strict. Thank you for never making me think of uttering the words, “I hate you” out of anger or annoyance. Thank you for being generous. Thank you for your love. For your unconditional love. Thank you for always being here. Thank you for giving me THIS life. There’s NO ONE else I would want as a mother. Even the mother’s who, although love their children, let them do whatever they please, come home at whatever time, and hang out with whoever they want. You’re the best. Thank you for being YOU. Xoxo
